This mouthpiece is a straight bar hinged on a copper center roller, encouraging lateral collection and lift. The limited movement in the mouthpiece prevents excess pressure on the outside bars and lips, while the roller applies light pressure to the tongue for a soft feel. This bit requires light contact. The sweet iron mouthpiece keeps the horse's mouth moist.
